Niche Affiliate Marketing

I have been on the net since the days of dial-up. Being a geeky type, I always indulged in online games and creating websites from back when I was in high school. I created my first websites for my Quake 2 clan in ‘97 and I felt pretty great about that at that time.

Fast forward to 2005, I graduate from university with a degree in Computer Science, landed my first programming job and was on top of the world. Around the same time, I stumbled upon some guy’s blog about making money online. First I didn’t believe it, then I read more and more blogs and stories of people admitting of making money while sleeping. Great concept but is it real?

Coincidentally, I landed my first job as a web developer with an online advertising network shortly after graduation and that’s where I discovered about online affiliate marketing.

I started digging more and more about this affiliate marketing stuff and came to know about super affiliates like Amit Mehta of http://superaffiliatemindset.com and Paul Bourque from http://UberAffiliates.com making big money online. I decided I wanted to pursue this. When I started, I struggled like everybody else. There is too much info on the net. I was just lost - information overload. I started few sites, did some SEO, made some $100-$200/mo for a while, then started doing PPC, lost some money but I kept on going.

It’s only recently things have turned around for me and my affiliate business has taken off. Sometimes it takes just one good thing to get your mind to start thinking positively agian. Now I do PPC affiliate marketing part-time and generating over $500/day.

With this blog, I like to help myself and you find success in online affiliate marketing or anything in life. I like to hear from people what they do, how they found success, opinions, thoughts and just share your experience with everyone else. I hope you find this blog somewhat helpful and enjoyable.
